Spray on Texture

Using our spray on texture system one of our specialist tradesman is able to apply anywhere from 500 – 800 square metres a day. For our competitors to achieve this level of square meterage a minimum of 6 men would be required. In addition to the efficiency of our system, the amount of excess needed on site is significantly less than our competitors completing a roll on finish in the same amount of time.

With inclement weather we are able to stop, return at a later time and blend in to where we had finished. This is not achievable with a roller texture application. Consistency of our finish is uniformed as one tradesman is responsible for applying the spray on texture, compared to multiple tradesmen completing a roll on texture finish.

Big Fish Painting's spray on texture is a three coat system:

• First coat: solvent base primer
• Second coat: spray on texture membrane
• Third coat: roll on membrane

If spray on texture is not required our paint only system consists of:

• First coat: solvent base primer
• Second coat: roll on membrane
• Third coat: roll on membrane

For our paint only quotes, Big Fish Painting still use full membrane compared to may other companies who use a non membrane acrylic paint.
